How to Determine the "Minimum" That Works on a Bad Day (with Examples)
Share
Minimum is not "little." Minimum is "feasible."
The minimum is to work when:
-
you are tired,
-
you have less time,
-
you're having a bad day.
If the minimum only works on a good day, it is not the minimum.
3 tests minimum
Test 1: 2 minutes
If it can't be done in 2 minutes, then the minimum is too high.
Test 2: a bad day
Imagine a day with low energy.
Can you still do the minimum? If not, reduce it.
Test 3: No Negotiations
The minimum is to be so simple that you don't have to debate.
Examples of minimum (ready-made)
-
movement: 5 squats / 1 minute of stretching
-
reading: 1 page
-

-
tidiness: 2 minutes of cleaning one place
-
Finance: 1 min to check balance or expenses

Traps
-
minimum = "full workout" (too high)
-
minimum = "zero sense" (too small and doesn't create a path)
-
no signal (you don't know when you do it)

If you want a ready-made tracker and return procedure (so that the minimum is not just theoretical):
